SIMON NICHOLSON IS BSJA SHOW JUMPER OF THE MONTH OCTOBER

Simon Nicholson from Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire has been voted Show Jumper of the Month for October. Simon and his British bred stallion Marcolas G won the 2007 Horse and Hound Foxhunter competition at this years Horse of the Year Show.

The panel of judges felt that Simon was a very worthy winner as his victory was a triumph for British breeding and his attainment of his own personal goal. The Horse and Hound Foxhunter is the competition which riders of all levels aspire to and as he has produced the grey stallion through the grades to this accolade Simon was felt to be a true Show Jumper of the Month.

Show Jumper of the Month is now jointly sponsored by Zamar and Gatetrix and Trevor Honor of Gatetrix stated, “It is a pleasure to see a British bred horse win the Foxhunter and Simon is a very worthy recipient of this our first Show Jumper of the Month award.”
