JESSICA MENDOZA IS JANUARY SHOW JUMPER OF THE MONTH

11 year old Jessica Mendoza from Chippenham, Wiltshire has been voted the youngest ever Show Jumper of the Month for January 2008.

The voting panel felt that Jessica’s outstanding performances with her 128cm ponies at the Premier Shows throughout January were deserving of the award. Jessica and Dooneens Future Star won a Smiths of Whiteinch qualifier for the 2008 BSJA Scope Festival at Arena UK.With Spring Disney, Jessica won a Winter 128cm on the 19th January at Arena UK and on the 20th with Charlies Angel she won and was second, in the same class. with Spring Disney again at Arena UK. To crown an exceptional month a 128cm Grand Prix win with Get Ready Freddie at the Hand Equestrian Centre was the ‘icing on the cake’.
